Scholarship
Objectives:
- To develop scholarship policies and criteria for Ocean County College students.
- To review endowed scholarship fund guidelines.
- To review scholarship applications from qualified students and recommend scholarships for approval from Foundation funds.
Events – Gala, Golf, Viking 5k and SUP the River
Objectives:
- To work with the Foundation Team from concept to successful execution of the annual fundraisers.
- To assist with promoting the event(s)
- To help identify potential stakeholders to donate to the event(s)
Foundation Art Collection
Objectives:
- To establish a collection of fine and sculptural works of art for public display, and to inspire our student artists through the same.
Community and Public Relations
Objectives:
- To interact with individuals and organizations throughout Ocean County to interpret the Foundation’s mission and develop broad support for the College.
- To monitor Foundation relations with the public, cooperate with the College Administration, and participate in public events.
Blauvelt Speaker Series and Concert Committee
Objectives:
- To identify and recommend new speakers/entertainers/thought leaders for students, stakeholders, and broader community.
- Promotes events, works to increase attendance and community engagement
