Other Ways to Support
Endowment
An endowment fund is a gift or bequest of money or property that is given for permanent, self-sustaining support of the College. The assets are invested, and a portion of the value of the fund is paid out to support the fund’s purpose. Any earnings in excess of the distributions are reinvested into the fund’s principal. Endowment funds support the College in perpetuity and provide support for many of the Ocean County College Foundation’s most vital initiatives.
Whatever a donor’s particular area of interest, the Foundation’s endowment policies allow each vision to become—and remain—a reality.
Unrestricted endowment contributions provide the OCC Foundation with long-term financial flexibility. Named funds, restricted to a specific purpose, allow alumni, parents, and friends to honor or memorialize themselves or loved ones in a meaningful way.
Restricted endowed funds support specific named initiatives.
Individuals or organizations can set up endowed funds—to learn more, please contact the Foundation at foundation@ocean.edu or 732-255-0492.
Principal Projects
Capital gifts support the design and construction of new buildings, the renovation and upgrade of existing structures, the addition of new technologies and research facilities, and the beautification of the campus.
Some of the recent projects include:

Robert J. Novins Planetarium
Join us in shaping a space where science, imagination, and exploration come alive for learners of all ages. Your support through one of our naming opportunities will help create a state-of-the-art planetarium that educates, inspires, and ignites curiosity for generations to come.
The revitalized space will offer immersive exhibits and hands-on educational experiences, igniting a love of science in learners of all ages. It’s a place where wonder takes root, where questions lead to exploration, and where every visit is a launchpad for imagination.
Naming opportunities are available for various spaces, systems, and structures. If you or your organization are interested in building a place where wonder begins and learning never ends, please contact the Foundation at foundation@ocean.edu or 732-255-0492.
